Colours of Lockdown, 2020

Community collaboration: installation & photography

During the Covid 19 lockdown, I lived in a housing co-operative with 11 other people. Colours of Lockdown was a collaborative project and involved us gathering all the items we had of one particular colour to create installations in the garden. It was a challenge for us to be stuck together for so long, and this project was a chance to playfully interact with each other.

We were forced to stop after the third colour due to a large argument between participants. This seemed to further highlight the difficulties of the lockdown period.
