About my Art Therapy

Art Therapy can enable you to explore feelings that may be too difficult to put into words. Art itself is often considered to be an inherently healing activity and this can be harnessed within the therapeutic setting. Within my practice, I create an environment in which you can explore, experiment and express yourself without judgement. The sessions are held in an art studio so there is space to be messy and use a wide variety of art materials. I will tailor your sessions to suit your needs and this will be discussed within an initial consultation before we work together.

My practice is open to individuals interested in embracing a holistic approach to mental well-being. Whether you are dealing with life transitions, emotional challenges, or simply longing for a space to explore and express your inner world, art psychotherapy can offer a refreshing and alternative approach to therapy.

You do not need to have any art skills or previous experience of art to have art therapy. You simply need an interest in being creative and a willingness to experiment.

My Qualifications

I am a registered member of the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and work within their ethical framework. I hold an MA in Art Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths University London, and a First Class Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from the University of Brighton.

Book Intro Session
  • Art Therapy uses art making, alongside talking, to enrich communication and provide another way for emotions to be processed.

  • My approach is rooted in the belief that self-expression through art making can be inherently healing. I work primarily psychodynamically and will attempt to help you understand your own emotions in order to gain insight about yourself.

  • I am able to work with anyone who has an interest in art or being creative. My work is trauma informed and I am LGBTQ+ affirmative. I am inclusive to all.

  • One hour of one-to-one art therapy costs £65.

I also provide art therapy taster workshops for groups (£20 each for a minimum of 4 people).

I am able to accomodate low waged sessions at a lower cost. Please message me about this.
